Interview with Takeshi Goto about SONY VAIO

The VAIO SZ Premium Version was a notebook PC that was portable yet packed all of the performance needed to serve as a main machine.

Now, Sony has further enhanced performance while taking mobility to a new level with the new VAIO Z. It's no simple task to achieve these two conflicting goals. That is where Sony's long history of expertise and technology comes in.

1. Concept : In performance, mobility, and class, no compromise was allowed in development of the VAIO Z.

2. Performance : For ultimate performance, new devices include DDR3 memory, standard voltage CPU and a Clear Tough LCD [Rich Colour].

3. Motherboard : Behind the ultra-compact motherboard are careful adjustments by human hands and the Nagano TEC, the VAIO Factory in Japan, production system.

4. Hardware : Aluminium and carbon processing technology gives the chassis a unified feel. Next-generation noise reduction technology even reduces the frequency ranges that people find unpleasant.

5. Hybrid Graphics : The challenge of toggling the graphics accelerator without reboot was achieved "with the customer in mind."
